How to plan your own DIY Neverland Party

How to Plan your own DIY Neverland Party

Here is how I made my own DIY Neverland Peter Pan Party. A lot of work went into this DIY Neverland Party for all my little Tinkerbell. My sweet baby Guine is turning two! I cant believe it! I chose an Fairy Neverland DIY Peter Pan Party to match the popular saying Never Grow Up!

This post will be an overall summary of what went into designing and making the party come to life. If you have questions or want me to go into more detail on specifics, let me know in the comments and I would be happy to make a blog all about it. There will be another post showing where I got everything for the party so you can find it too.

Decorations

Backdrop

Peter Pan was one of my favorite Movies from when I was a little girl. I really wanted to share it with my baby girl. I decided to make a transitional party, where each room is a different scene. My Dining room theme was the Nursery. I bought Pink and Raspberry balloons, Along with matching streamers! It worked out so cute! I wish I had time to make a peter pan shadow. If you throw a similar party please add this extra touch! I found an adorable pink number 2 balloon on wish. ( Make sure if you order from wish, you order with a lot of time to wait for delivery)

My Living room was possibly the easiest to decorate. We are in the process of decorating a big girl room for Guine and she needed curtains. I found adorable pink ruffle ones at Target and hung them up in front of my galaxy tapestry. Taped up some white construction paper as a window frame and whala! The perfect window to jump right into Neverland! Over my couches and bookcases I placed star banners and two balloons. Second star to the right of course!

Through my French doors ( I placed iridescent streamers on the doors) You wanted into Neverland. My Neverland Backdrop was very similar to my Alice in Onederland theme. Three Dollar tree table clothes, braided and topped with pom-pom flowers. I even added some of the left over iridescent streamers from the French doors. It looked beautiful!

I decided to expand my party to out front my home to invite all my guests inside. I have added Neverland Directional Signs to my shop! I think this would be the cutest addtition to any Neverland Party or Nursery.

Table Decorations

It was so much fun to spread my party out to so many different areas of the house. My Nursery table was simple and sweet. Only flowers and display trays were placed there to accommodate all the food for the party.

My Neverland table was more elaborate, I DIY some terrariums for the Pixie Hollow Table, and added an extra Lost boys table to the outside to hold my favors and Crafts. I used props from around my home and special additions bought from stores to make my table a little more Neverland Themed.

For my guest book I decided to pick a non-Disney Peter Pan book. Flying to Neverland with Peter Pan by Betty Comden, Adolph Green & Carolyn Leigh. I had my guests sign the front and back pages of the book. This makes such a fun keepsake for any child.

My Centerpiece

Inspired by a DIY Project from Instagram, I found a easy way to make some DIY Terrariums for my Pixie Hollow Table. I used some gold straws from Target and glue to create a open style terrarium. I bought the flowers from Dollar tree and arranged them myself. I had enough supplies to make a total of three and I think they turned out amazing! SO EASY. Under the Display I placed my wood cuttings and palm leaves. It seemed to all work so well together.

DIY Favors & Gifts:

Favors:

I went a little crazy with my favors and had fun doing it! My favors included Fairy wings and handmade fairy wands. I also wanted to do a Neverland craft which every child got to bring home.

My handmade fairy wands were crafted by me. I took chopsticks and separated them. I then glued bells to the tops of each chopstick along with flowers and ribbons. Guine loved them, and so did everyone else! They matched perfectly with the fairy wings I found at the Dollar Tree.

My favorite part of the party with the interactive Neverland Craft! I found sensory bottles and the Dollar Tree and corks that fit perfectly. I spent a while collecting little “lost things” to put inside. I was able to find Fairy Confetti, Alligator erasers and other Neverland themed items. This is such a fun idea for a young/ Toddler party! This project was such a crowd pleaser. Totally recommend!

For Neverland Baby Showers I recommend my Neverland Milestone Stickers to be the perfect gift that keeps on giving. If your planning on taking monthly photos of your Lost boy or girl I recommend these Fandom Stickers to help you show the progress your lost child is making. <3

 Fashion

Fashion is always my favorite Subject. Nerd fandoms make it so much fun to dress up. What makes it better is when there is a Fandom event where you can go to show off your Nerd Fashion. If your not already following us on Instagram and Facebook you know that were expecting a little boy in June! We are over the moon excited! I made it my goal to find the perfect Wendy dress for the party. It was harder then I thought. But I found the perfect maternity dress from H&M. I didn’t even know they had a maternity line. Its safe to say I was pleasantly surprised.

Guinevere looked adorable in her Tinkerbelle inspired dress. I found the perfect dress on Amazon. I paired it with little green wings and a green handmade wand. Just Precious!

Thank you so much for joining me for my Neverland Birthday Party. Let me know in the comments if you are planning a Neverland Party. Did my ideas help you out? I sure hope so! Photos were taken by Lalalu Photography!
