Hi Jess!

I actually just used one thick piece of cardboard! It was a box I took from work after we received a large package. It was very thick and sturdy. I only needed one coat of acrylic paint!

Such a cute party! Did you use acrylic to paint the cardboard cut out? How did you prevent the cardboard from warping and how many layers of paint did you need to get the colors so opaque? Great ideas!
